Ramadan 2009 update to follow soon....

Ongoing 2009 - Noble Intentions works with other organisations and Muslim charities working with ex-offenders, providing consultancy and training services.

December 2008 – For the Eid al Adha celebrations, Noble Intentions commissioned Poetic Pilgrimage, a Muslim female spoken word duo to entertain and inspire the women at a London prison. They were a great inspiration, particularly to the young offenders. Insha’Allah, we hope to facilitate creative workshops in female prisons with Poetic Pilgrimage, however this cannot be achieved without your generous support.

November/December 2008 – Noble Intentions began to raise money to purchase supplication books for sisters at a female prison in London. Alhamdulillah, by the Grace of Allah we raised enough money to purchase the books for the entire female estate in England. (Approx. 300 Muslim women)

Ramadan 2008/1429 – Noble Intentions raised money to provide iftar meals for 250 inmates at a London prison, on 3 of the last 10 nights. The meat & poultry was sourced from HMC certified suppliers, and the cooking was done on a voluntary basis by a member of the local community.

Thobe Appeal

Do you have any spare thobes?

We are collecting thobes for brothers to wear at Jumu'ah prayer. Some of them own only prison issue clothing, and often don't have a clean pair for Fridays.This discourages them from attending Jumu'ah.

We will accept thobes that are brand new or used but in very good condition (washed and ironed, please). Preferably in Medium or Large, they cannot have a hood.
